Google Made with Code
Partnering with Google's Made with Code team and Snapchat, the Swift crew orchestrated a large-scale campaign promoting a coding contest for teen girls to develop their own custom Snapchat lens and enter for a chance to win a trip to attend TEDxWomen in New Orleans.
The campaign covered a vast amount of territory, creating original paid and organic content for social channels, co-creating promotional material with notable influencers, and aggregating user-generated content to broadcast an inspiring call to action that engaged thousands of women and girls to participate, ultimately helping to push Made with Code well within its annul goal of 1 million coding projects completed in 2017.
My own involvement included extensive photo and video retouching, visual design, and motion design—sustaining the role of primary designer throughout the life of the campaign.
Swift was presented in 2018 with a D&AD Impact Wooden Pencil award for its influential work within the category of education, due in large part to the efforts put forth on the #MyFutureMe Challenge.
